Context

The goal was a site the team could maintain on their own and that turned searches into quote requests.

What I built

01

Products and categories managed by the team in a simple admin area, without depending on me for every change.

Product catalogue by category
02

Every request is stored and triggers an instant email to the team with the details and the product in question.

Quote request form
03

Pre-rendered pages, sitemap, structured data and delivery area pages. Searching for the brand, the site comes up first, with direct links to the main pages.

Technical decisions

  1. 01

    Pre-render instead of rewrite

The site is a React app. Instead of switching frameworks, every page is generated as HTML at build time, so search engines get the full content.

  2. 02

SEO is checked on every build

A script walks the sitemap and fails the build if a page is missing a title, a description under 160 characters, an H1 or the correct canonical. SEO never degrades silently.
